Stolen Tractors!
Last night, Thursday 13th May 2010, between 1.30am and 3.30am the following 2 tractors were stolen from our depot, Sharmans of Grantham:
1 x 8530, Serial Number RW8530D046204, Registration FX09 KKS
1 x 7930, Serial Number RW7930D029979, Delivered 12th May not yet registered!

Two 25 Year Celebrations!
Phil Noon and Andrew Shipman both celebrated their 25 year anniversaries at Sharmans Agricultural recently. Phil joined the company on 11th March 1985 and Andrew joined a month later on 15th April 1985.
Both were presented with a gold watch by Managing Director Roger Barclay, Sales Director Francis Disney and Finance Director Liz Marshall in recognition of their long service and loyalty to the company. The photo shows a total of 168 years of loyal service to Sharmans, not including that of Roger!

Agricultural Management Solutions is John Deere's umbrella term for satellite guidance systems such as parallel tracking and autotrac, crop yield monitoring and precision farming e.g. variable rate fertiliser application. As the costs of farming escalate the interest in maximising efficiency and productivity is rapidly increasing and our customers are looking towards AMS products to allow this to happen for them. This is why we now have a dedicated AMS specialist to support customers with obtaining the best from this new technology.
